This ELLLC webinar will delve into the critical aspects of integrating Sustainable Food Systems (SFS) into dietetics education.

It will explore the barriers and facilitators to embedding SFS within the curriculum and practice placements, providing an overview of these challenges and opportunities. Participants will gain insights from European and international activities in dietetics education, highlighting successful initiatives and collaborative efforts.

Additionally, the session will discuss the impact of mandating certain aspects of sustainability in education, examining how these requirements can drive systemic change and enhance the competency of future dietitians. Evidence-based practices and shared experiences will be incorporated to provide a comprehensive understanding and practical strategies for implementation.

This session is designed for educators, researchers, and professionals committed to advancing sustainability within dietetics education.
